On Sunday nights the Jamboree room is an unavoidable meeting point for lovers of rhythm’n’blues, blues, rock’n’roll, swing and early soul in Barcelona. Directed by Ivan Kovacevic, the Rhythm’n’Jamboree sessions invite the best national and international bands of this scene to the basement of Plaça Reial: artists who evoke a time when music was a way of being in the world. To celebrate the first anniversary of Rhythm’n’Jamboree, a first-class meeting between the Barcelona Big Blues Band, Dani Nel·lo, Wax & Boogie and the vocal group The Sparkles will take place at Paral·lel 62. That same night, the Barcelona Big Blues Band will also have another special guest: the Slovenian singer and pianist Uros Peric, considered one of the best interpreters of the style and work of the genius of soul, Ray Charles, will perform for the first time in the State. A unique night.
