In this last year, apart from the traditional activity of the Mas y Mas rooms, new formats, new styles, new trends that often connect with the contemporary have been implemented. In this sense, the performances of urban music artists have been consolidated, soul, funk, hip-hop and r’n’b have for the first time a jam of their own.

 

19h · HEAR ME OUT by SOUL LAB

SOUL LAB is a multicultural collective from Barcelona, born with the need to share a lifestyle: Hip Hop culture. Talent and a sense of community are the hallmarks that are revealed in the music and dance events they organize. A sound mix between samplers, instruments, mcs, singers and their different languages.

HEAR ME OUT is a group that was born organically within the Soul Lab collective. With a repertoire faithful to their Hip Hop roots, and the good energy known from their jams, they offer a sextet, in a show more than recommended for all fans of urban culture.

The BDP Show presented by Joaco and organized by Goodjy will be a set of various movements of the urban genre with artists Dual Tod, Kmbra, Taros, Sefo, Zoyert, BTP, Shinobi, Gis and Quing.

The local rapper/singer with international projection who draws influence from the last thirty years of American hip hop history. She presents her debut album “Romanticist”.

DJ SEVEN

On this occasion, Sudor returns to offer his signature DJ set, and this time loaded with fresh air; the audience at the closing of the festival will have the opportunity to experience an urban style music session, this time endowed with an interactive and multisensory character.

We intend to offer a quality experience in which we manage to capture the attention of the audience through an extraordinary ornamentation, a wide and updated musical cast in which the artists belonging to the organization will actively participate, and to end this 19th edition of the festival with a variety of high caliber surprise guests that will guarantee a good tuning with the show we intend to deliver.

The session will have a total duration of one hour in which the dynamism, the surprise and the rhythm will be the indisputable of the day.

NYAH ft. HAL C & FRIENDS

Nyah vocals, Hal keyboards, Eudald Payés trumpet, Jon Carranza bass, Gustau Garcia drums.

Aitana López and Mario Coloma join forces for a duo composition of Neo Soul, Hip Hop and contemporary R&B. With musical references such as Erykah Badu, The Roots, Common or Dángelo among others. A concert to delight the ear.

 

CECÉ & THE SOUL KITCHEN

Cecé vocals, Arturo Zamprogna guitar, Victorio de Giusto keyboards, Ignacio Prieto bass, Nicolás de la Pava drums.

Originally from Margarita Island in Venezuela and now based in Barcelona, Spain, Claudia Cedeño, better known as Cecé, is an artist and music producer who develops naturally and skillfully in the hip-hop and R&B genres. With references from the likes of Jose Stone and Missy Elliot, she also takes elements of pop music to incorporate into her compositions, making them more accessible and eye-catching. Soul, hip-hop and Caribbean sounds came together to come up with something unique; Cecé’s music. Since 2016 she has been focused on her solo project and so far she has developed a very varied range of very personal songs. About the compositions of her songs, Cecé said: “My music remains as the record of having grown up a lot. In the end they are stories of how I deal with my processes in the most genuine and pleasant way I can find.
