The worlds of Balkan music and Manouche jazz come together in a band that includes two great exponents of the two genres: Biel Ballester (Gypsy jazz) and Ivan Kovačević (Balkan music and the man behind the group). Bratia combines the energy, precision and purity of what is known as European swing with the rhythmic and musical power of the traditional culture of the Balkans. It’s a wonderfully wild way of giving the Plaça Reial cycle the opening it deserves.
