The voice of Sinead Savage is a well-known feature of the world of soul and r ‘n’ b in Barcelona but the artist has also worked with the likes of John Cale and “Prince” Philip Mitchell. Savage, who has been compared to Etta James and Janis Joplin, transmits the indomitable, vital energy of the great names of soul, such as Otis Redding and Ann Sexton. But she has plenty of personality of her own too, accompanied by the top-class band the Flytones.
